I bought this watch for my husband for Christmas when he opened it he loved it. Once going online to see how the downloading the schedule worked, we found out that you have to pay to have the schedule downloaded to the watch every time. Its not cheap either, I believe if I remember correctly it was around $30 each time you downloaded the schedule. Ridiculous. You spend $100 on the watch then have to pay another $30 to even get the schedule onto the watch. No thank you. We sent it back. I felt really bad because my husband loved the watch but we both found it ridiculous that you have to pay even more money to use the features of the watch. Not worth it when we can download the schedule for free onto our computers or phones. Seriously don't waste your time buying this watch unless you wanna be paying for the schedule which is what the watch is all about.

I ordered the Carolina Hurricanes version of this Game Time Schedule watch as a Christmas gift for 2011. When the watch arrived, I was excited to open it and see how it looked, however, it was dead on arrival! With only a few days before Christmas, I emailed the company and asked if maybe it was just the battery and I received no response. As of this day, I have yet to receive a response from them! I took the watch to a watch shop and had the battery replaced at the cost of $11.50 and it worked like a charm. The watch guy tested the battery in came with and said it was deader than a doornail! The watch band is rubber and the small band that keeps the loose end in place would continuously move around allowing the loose end to flap around. My husband replaced the band with a casual leather band he had on a watch he already owned.
It did come with a coupon code included in the box to access the current schedule for "free". That was a nice bonus as a lot of reviews complained about having to pay each year. Well, I personally don't see a problem with paying $10-$12 a year for a new schedule. We pay more than that for other electronic gadgets, virus protectors, etc.
So in all, I would say it was a hit as a gift for any sports fan out there. It plays the national anthem at the beginning of each of his games to alert him. Looks nice, no regrets here!

I bought this watch for my husband for Xmas and he loved it! I think it's a great idea be able to have the whole NHL schedule at your finger tips. Besides an alarm playing the National Anthem to remind you when your favorite team is playing. It's so cool...you can even download the new schedule every year!
He liked it so much I got my brother a Laker's watch for his birthday. And he had never seen anything like it. What a hit!!
The only I would change one thing...instead of having the National Anthem I would put the teams Anthem. I think this is a great gift idea for any sports fan!!
