My son loves his cape! He's 3 & 1/2. I got him the red one & one in blue. He seems to prefer the blue one & has me wear the red one & we pretend to fly around together. I liked this one because it had a velcro closing on the neck. For safety reasons I wanted velcro because it'll open up & come off if the cape catches on something or some kid tries to pull it off him. I didn't want to get a cape that tied. I thought that would be a choking hazard. There are so many things a parent has to think of in the area of safety. As it is, I had to tell him that the cape would not really allow him to fly that it was only pretend flying. I think at first he was a little disappointed at the thought that he couldn't "really" fly but he still loves it & pretend flies all over the house & even wears it to daycare.

I ordered this for my grandson's third birthday after he had tried to make a super hero cape out of a bath towel.I was expecting a cheesy, flimsy Halloween-type cape but this far exceeded my expectations. It's made from shiny velour and has sturdy velcro fasteners. It fit him perfectly and he immediately began flying around the room. It was one of his favorite gifts and probably the least expensive. This cape is well worth the money.

This little cape has provided hours of imaginative fun for my 4 yr old and 2 yr old. They are made of quality material that will last. My boys love running around the house pretending they are a real superhero. Highly recommend!

I bought this for my four year old son who is firmly rooted in "superhero" mode. I was a little concerned that it was not long enough for him and therefore, would quickly out grow it. But he has no problem with it thus far and his younger 2 yr old brother often comes to borrow it so he can play. So begins the fight and the sharing. I think this was an inexpensive way to stimulate play and so far the cape has held up to multiple save-the-day events.

This cape is adorable. My 2-year-old was excited to put it on right after removing from the package. The smile on his face was priceless! He immediately started running around the house with his new cape. The cape is well-made. The velcro tabs at the neck are good but I may reinforce them before my son goes out for Halloween. The best part - I think this cape will get lots of dress-up use after the holiday. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
