Great Game Feb 25, 2007
This rendition of the classic Monopoly game is great for any Denver Bronco fan. I got it for my son for Christmas, and he is constantly asking someone to play it with him.
Instead of Real Estate properties, Team players, such as Elway, Davis, Sharpe, Elam, Smith, Plummer, Atwater, Bailey, Walker, Lynch, Cutler, and Wilson are sold for a price as well as super bowl games. The utilities have changed to radio stations from Denver, and the railroads are now down markers. Houses are called Club Suites and Hotels are called Stadiums. Chance and Community Chest cards are called Orange Crush cards and Miles cards. They have cute little sayings like "Voted MVP of Super Bowl XXXIII Advance to John Elway" which is Boardwalk of coarse, or "Issue new uniforms after burning vertically striped socks Pay $150."
One of the neatest things about the game are the pewter tokens in which Parker Brothers even managed to capture the biggest fan "the Barrel Man" as a moving piece. It has to be pretty cool to him to know that he is that well known. Other pieces are the Quarterback, Football, Cheerleader, Referee's Whistle and the Broncos Helmet.
The game plays much like the original, with a few variances of course. It is a lot of fun and there are several different ways to play a revised version of the game that doesn't take as long in case you don't have a lot of time, but are still looking for a fun family friendly game to play.
Is it worth buying?
Absolutely. Any Bronco fan would be thrilled to get this game.
