I love the design and it's a well-made ceramic mug, but the plastic cover doesn't fit as if it was made for this cup. The cover pushes down into the inside and has a tendency to leak around the seal a little bit.

This is a beautiful addition to my mug collection. The usefulness of this travel mug is questionable. The ceramic mug is heavier than an aluminum one of the same size and, of course, is highly breakable. It also has the disadvantage of having a thicker lip than an aluminum travel mug. Add the spill resistant top to the thickness of the ceramic and drinking from it becomes a tricky exercise. If you want a functional and long lasting travel mug, I don't think this is the answer. But if you want a cute addition to a mug collection or something to celebrate your love of cats, this is the one for you.

I really liked this mug. Unfortunately, it fell off the table shortly after I got it and a piece chipped off the lip. So, I guess that would be the downside to the whole ceramic thing. Of course I broke my favorite one! Otherwise, I was very happy with the product. I have two other mugs as well. I have not broken them yet and I am very happy with them.

Did not know what to expect when I ordered this mug. Sometimes items get broken or the workmanship is not good and there will be cracks. But not with this mug. It was in wonderful shape. Well made and heavier than I thought it would be. It's fun to use and is my favorite at work, just to make a statement. Not sure about how microwavable it is. I am careful with that. Love it!

I purchased this mug for my mother-in-law who can not say no to a cat. She has several and gets them fixed and their shots and she loved this mug.
