This shirt was soft, right out of the Amazon box. I immediately knew my husband would like it because of the softness, because it's lightweight, and also the graphic is a bit "vintage". I love that the gray of the shirt is heathered too. It makes it much classier for a casual night out in jeans than your typical athletic team t-shirt. Definitely please with quality, fit and style. **have not yet washed this shirt**
