100% Natural, Closest Shave, Lasts Longest! Aug 15, 2010
By K. Gordon I've recently switched to the more traditional (and vastly superior) style of shaving, using a Parker Safety Razor with Derby blades (I found to be better than the Shark blades, which tended to leave more nicks and red bumps, especially on the jaw and neck). I use this shave cream with a badger hair brush, and it applies amazingly well, especially with vertical strokes! The lather is thicker than I expected considering this product is described as a 'low-lather' formula. I find that I only have to use the smallest dab on the brush, and it covers my whole face with more to spare. I'm a man with a heavy beard, and this stuff really goes the distance! The shave has always been smooth and close, with a nice glide. There may be other shave creams or gels out there that provide a marginally better glide, but when you consider the toxic chemicals that they add (parabens, pthalates, preservatives, colorants, propellants, etc) it quickly becomes obvious that this is the superior product. Even other 'natural' products still use ingredients that rank in the 5s and 6s on the toxicity scale provided at [...], with most mainstream products ranking at a staggering 9 or 10 (out of 10) toxicity. This product, on the other hand, only has one ingredient that ranks at a 2, with the others coming in at either 0 or 1 on the toxicity scale. Final verdict = this product can't be beat.

Not just some haughty product Sep 24, 2011
By C. Andrew Long Yeah, at first glance, it looks like some trend-riding overpriced product. Not so. I guarantee this little tube will last longer than any amount of shaving foam you can get for this price. The smell is pleasant, the feel is great, and it only takes a couple little dots on your face to create a good coat. I've never used a shaving product with a better feel. It may seem odd at first, it being a low-lather cream rather than a foam.. but the shave you get with this cream is bar-none. Simply put, I'll probably never use another brand.

Great for ultra sensitive faces! Aug 30, 2011
By Jeffrey I have very sensitive skin, and this is the only shaving cream that doesn't leave my neck and chin looking and feeling like I got messed up by the sidewalk after falling off my bike. I highly recommend this for guys who normally suffer from razor rash. Also perfect if you travel a lot. Great size and lasts a very long time because a little dab goes a long way!

Simply the Best May 04, 2011
By ZoomDoc "Simply the best shaving cream. There we said it." This statement is written on the back of the product and its absolutely true. For a non-toxic solution to shaving without having to sacrifice much makes this expensive product outstanding. I wish it came in larger sizes but a little goes a long way. I tried the Dr. Bronners shaving gel which is now simply a gel soap for me. I tried the EO product as well which foams up nicely but offers little to no protection. This is the only way to go if you want essentially all natural and a close shave. I also recommend the Pacific Blade oil. This is a bit expensive but extends blade life of my Gillette Fusion. I used to be an Edge Gel man but consider me converted and not likely to go back. Best of best in this category bar none. Update: I have started wet shaving with a double edged razor. I always had problems making this stuff last. They say you can get nearly 100 shaves from this one tube. You must not apply direct to your face. Get a shaving brush and bowl put a quarter inch of the cream in with a tiny bit of warm water. Stir and mix and within a few minutes you will have enough lather to do 4 passes. Glad I switched to double edged shaving. I now get my money's worth. Problem solved!!

The Product Speaks for Itself - The Best! Jun 02, 2012
By R. MACDOUGALL
"Whatever?"
You can't find a purer product of its kind on the market than Pacific Shaving Company's 'All Natural Shaving Cream" - contains no parabens or propylene glycol by-products. I also appreciate its mild "natural" smelling fragrance. I found that the best way to apply the product to your face is to first soak a Badger shaving brush in a shaving cream bowl with hot water BEFORE showering. After showering, apply a pre-shaving oil (Pacific Shaving Co.'s has its own oil product that's excellent, cheap and has a very light application), then, shake off any excess water from the brush, apply a small amount of the shaving creame (dime size works just fine), wet two finger tips w/ hot water then mix the cream inside the bowl. Once mixed, lightly wet the brush w/ hot water and mix in the bowl w/ the cream, then, apply to face. The only thing I question is the company's claim of "100 shaves" per unit - more like 30 to 50 shaves. However, you can't beat the price per unit - under $10. BTW... The purchase of each product unit helps plant a tree. This one is a WINNER!!!
